Hire Costumes

  • - All Hired articles remain the property of Jester Fancy Dress.
  • - A security bond will be required at the time of hire. This can be left as cash or a credit card imprint.
  • - If the costume is not returned on or before the due date you will be charged a late fee of $10 per day until the costume is returned.
      Overdue charges must be paid before the security bond is returned.
  • - Cancellation fees may apply.
  • - You will not alter the garments in any way.
  • - Damaged or lost articles must be paid for at the current replacement costs.
  • - Acceptable photo ID must be provided before the costumes will be released.
  • - Costumes will not be exchanged after leaving the store.
  • - Cleaning costs are included in the hire.
  • - You agree to hire the costumes at your own risk and indemnify Jester Fancy Dress against claims of any injury, damage and loss from the use of the    costumes.
  • - Whilst all care is taken to ensure the costume is hired in good condition, you should inspect the costume and point out any defects to a member of staff before    the costume leaves the premises.


Online Purchase

Postage will be at least every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We hope you are happy with your purchases but if for some reason you are not you can contact us by email jesterfancydres@optusnet.com.au or phone 02 9525 2855 within 7 days of purchase. Please include your name, contact details and your reasons for returning your order. We will contact you by return email. The product MUST be returned in the original condition, unworn in the original packaging and with original tags.

Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include postage and handling. 

You are responsible for the postage costs for the return goods.

All returns should be via registered mail as we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us.

Upon receiving the goods we will credit you with a refund or exchange. 


Unfortunately some things cannot be returned. These are:

  • -Products that have been used, worn or altered.
  • -Hairsprays, cosmetics and makeup
  • -Underwear
  • -Socks and stockings
  • -Eyelashes
  • -Wigs and facial hair( unless in the original, unopened packaging)
  • -Fangs or fake teeth (unless in the original, unopened packaging)
  • -Special orders

If you purchase an item that is not in stock we will contact you by phone or email to arrange an alternate product or a full refund.
